Counselling.

Invest in yourself and explore new possibilities

What is Counselling?

Counselling is a talking therapy that provides a safe, non-judgemental and confidential space for you to explore and develop insights into the issues you may be struggling with.  We explore together your options and coping strategies to help you move forward and live the life you want to live.

Are you feeling overwhelmed and unable to cope?

These feelings can be triggered by events in our personal or work life, such as a change in working conditions, increased responsibility at work or home, loss of a loved one, relationship difficulties, and life events such as menopause.  In some cases, we may not be able to quite put our finger on why we may be feeling the way we do or why we feel 'stuck' and need help to explore this further.

The conditions we help with

We offer short term and long term therapy and work with many conditions that include anxiety, low mood, low self-esteem, stress, relationship difficulties, work related issues, depression, loss and grief, trauma, self-harm, addiction, shame, abuse and sexual identity.

Experience

Audra has worked as a Human Resource professional within both the private and public sectors for over 25 years.  Her experience as a coach and passion for developing and supporting others to achieve emotional and mental wellbeing led her to train as a Psychotherapist and Counsellor.  Audra provided support at a substance abuse recovery centre for marginalised groups such as LGBTQ+ and helped individuals work through the challenges that this community can experience.
